Current Roles

Dr. Amy Sitapati serves as the Chief Medical Information Officer of the Population Health for UC San Diego Health (UCSDH) and Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of Biomedical Informatics as well as General Internal Medicine. She serves as the Interim Chief of the Division of Biomedical Informatics at UCSD and Interim Chair of the Department of Biomedical Informatics at UCSDH. She is boarded in General Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics with training in Lean black belt, health leadership, clinical research and business administration. Dr. Sitapati's expertise includes biomedical informatics (registry, vital records informatics, quality informatics, analytics, equity, artificial intelligence, digital health). She leads population health informatics at UCSD, co-chairs the UCSD Artificial Intelligence Committee, serves as Co-PI for California Integrated Vital Records System, and is the Site PI for the NIH All of Us study at UCSD. She has been studying Kelee Meditation for more than 16 years and teaches meditation in the UCSD School of Medicine.
